I thought she dressed up to get merch at the Galactic Wars booth, and Benji dressed up to match her, not the other way around.

Seeing Nora’s hair loose compared to when we saw her first (over six months ago) I can tell these were some really tight buns.
That can mean two things…!

I think it’s more of a case of not letting him get used to *that particular* hairstyle, because if he does and she starts wearing it all the time, that means it’s going to take a couple of hours *every day* to put that hairstyle together….

Yeah, I fully understand her nipping THAT problem in the bud…
She should have gone with the same hairstyle that Princess Vespa had in “SpaceBalls.” Then she could have just put them on or taken them off like a pair of headphones!

Casual bunny is best bunny? Is that Nora’s belief? I think she looked great as Princess Leia/Leila.
Are the hair buns that difficult to style/braid or is Nora just not good at styling and braiding hair? Too bad the bun lost her buns and can’t wear her costume, I guess she couldn’t just roll up her sleeves. She must’ve thought ahead and brought a change of clothes with her, though if she’s competing in the card game tournament, she could’ve brought a Yu-Gi-Oh style coat. Is Nora jealous that Benji can keep wearing his costume? Maybe that’s partially why she especially won’t wear hair buns for Benji?
Is it just me, or is that a Hybrid version of Chik’n Nuggit in the background of panel 1? They definitely got the ears of Chik’n. With the card game about to be underway, how will it be depicted? Yu-Gi-Oh style? Or like the immersion style we saw in the Catacombs & Drakes chapter? I look forward to seeing the uber nerd couple compete!
If you take a closer look at the buns, they have a particular pattern to them. Matching that pattern (while more than likely being unfamiliar with the process) has got to be more difficult than it sounds.
On top of that, this bunny has a tendency for bad luck. Only God and Robin know how many times her hair unraveled in the middle of it all.

I disagree with your presumption that Benji is going to be facing off against Nora, Welsh Rat. No, with this chapter’s title, I presume that Nora’s going to be facing off against Amy (the Lucky Rabbit currently dressed as the March Hare). The question is, which wins in a game against the two Amy’s Fortune or Nora’s Disaster? Does Nora manage to steal Amy’s Fortune in a 1v1, effectively swapping their “roles” whenever they face against each other, or is it more of a “everyone is terrible” situation?
I’m saying they’re a team.

A half-dozen hair ties could have solved the sleeve issue, Nora. Three on each forearm, going towards the elbow and they no longer need to worry.
Wouldn’t that kind of mess up her cosplay?
The cosplay would still be recognizable, and the hair ties shouldn’t be tight enough to do any damage. The worst that would happen is that the sleeves need to be ironed. Which would likely happen from it being worn &, hopefully, washed anyway.

There’s nothing to ship. Nora and Benji are canonically dating.
The best ships to ship are typically the cannon relationships! You get to appreciate their interactions, see what happens, and feel great about it all!
The only exception is when it’s an animated work with writers terrified of writing people in a happy relationship. Because they, oh so often, decide to break them up off-screen between seasons for pointless drama & because they can’t be bothered attempting to write a story with a happy couple.

Canon? Background lore, either Official Canon – actual Word Of God – or Head Canon/Headcanon – information that a person believes that fills in the gaps but hasn’t been officially recognised…
