So now we finally get to see what they have been up to in that cornfield. Some of you probably guessed it already, but they were making a cropcircle.
All good and well, until you get caught of course :p

They’re bound to have problems with drunk UFO flying, just like we have drunk drivers.
“Don’t drink and fly!” or maybe “Don’t drink and float” or even “No alcohol during hyperspace” the possibilities are endless
Or the great idea they had in my country, but for seatbelts:
“Put on your seatbelt, or else!”
No kidding, that’s what it says, with some popular guy on it that I don’t know about xD
This kinda gives a vibe of “Only you can prevent forest fires” xD Btw, have you heard about this streetside poster in… norway? maybe sweden? dont know exactly anymore, anyways – it basically showed a child and everytime it started raining the child started bleeding. This was because the people underestimated the danger of driving on wet surfaces and there were many accidents while or after raining. (Fun fact: with these posters widely spread in the country that year there was not one fatal accident caused by rain)

AFAIK there were watersensors on the poster (or some external station sent the status “hey it’s raining, do your thing poster”) and some holes in the poster were a pump would spill out red coloured water for it to run down the poster and get back in the “blood” reservoir
Well, after a quick google search I found out two things:
1. It was NOT norway or sweden or something up there, it was New Zealand (close enough)
2. The actual name of those things (billboard, not poster – I’m no native speaker)

The real line is “I would have gotten away with it if it weren’t for you meddling kids”. I’m pretty sure it was originally from Scooby Doo, but you can find references to it everywhere. Delightful irony how this time it was the meddling kids who would have gotten away with it.

I’m confused… am I stupid, or is this some special reference? what is that?
People keep mentioning drinking and alcohol… but I still have no idea.
I see it is a crop circle, but they way you all are reacting and everyone mentioning drunk flying makes me think it’s some kind of reference. I might be looking too much into this though
Those townsfolk aren’t very ration or bright, are they? I mean, they didn’t jump to a more logical conclusion like the crop circle was a prank or was the result of someone leaving a tractor running. While it may not have been the work of Aliens (just a set of adorable, tween-looking Half Dragon twins), they should be prepared for actual extraterrestrials to visit the field. Some aliens send messages with those designs, either they’ll come down for a barn dance or to ask, “Who keeps writing these?!” in frustration, among other possibilities. Awesome color failure for the twins, by the way!
