I think either the geeral audience aren’t metal fans or maybe a number of them were just left stunned. Maybe it would hav eled if Nomi more looked the part? Looked like somone who performs metal?
I really have to remember to read my posts first before submitting them. Especially when typing on a phone. So once again: maybe it would have helped if Nomi more looked the part.
I mean, if we subtracted the cloak, she would kinda fit in with the likes of Babymetal as is… School-uniform and such.
Oh Crisp!
Now I have a mental image stuck in my head of her going nuts on “Oh Majinai” But who is going to do Joakim’s part? Hmm… Rex maybe?
Kaya plans her response
as Nomi stuns the floor.
The audience doesn’t seem
to know the score.
Applause is needed;
more than she’s got.
It seems the audience
doesn’t know the plot.
The machine strikes high
as applause goes low.
The audience doesn’t get
how this is gonna go…
If later contestants can make their choices while earlier contestants are
screeching– I mean singing, then they can not only choose in response to a competitor like Kaya does. They can also watch the applause meter and choose based on what the audience seems to like. The contest would be fairer if all contestants would choose their songs before the performances begin.Absolutely, but that’s a tradeoff I made for storytelling ^^’
To be clear: It’s a problem with the contest, not a problem with the storytelling. A story can contain an amateurishly run contest.
regardless of how the contest ends, if Kaya learned something from Cleo, she can use this event as free advertising for her channel. Just saying.
