For what it’s worth, I’m a little bit like this myself. I’m not anywhere near that shy off stage just talking to people, but I get really anxious when asked to perform impromptu, without any background track or stage to perform from.

The “ma’am!” is oddly emotionally pleasing. Makes me visualise potential futures for Kaya. Her getting that treatment when she is older by kids on the street and politely trying to ask them to use something less formal. Or working as a Psychiatrist or Teacher or Business lady or something ^^

I like that mental image. I think it suits Kaya well to follow in her mom’s footsteps.
I would not be surprised if there is a Nomi-Kaya-collaboration coming to Kaya’s channel at some point in the not too distant future.

Nomi is a terrible liar, Rachael and Agnes didn’t even mention her name and she claims she isn’t the Nomi they’re talking about! 😆 Interesting to see Agnes the day after watching the stream she was drawn in, she’s a cute little pony. It’s quite considerate of the pair to try to help keep Nomi’s “secret” for her, emphasis on “try,” but it’s a bit redundant right now when they’re talking to another of the Karaoke Contest’s contestants and their response is rather forced and obviously lies. Kaya just wants to congratulate Nomi at least…
I wasn’t aware that Janko can sing, I wonder what his score was… What does Kaya wish to talk to Nomi about? I have the feeling Kaya wants to congratulate the Lemur, but is there anything else she wants not say? And when is Kaya’s turn to take the mike? I look forward to her singing.

Kaya is going to do her Kaya thing. She is (I think) going to do a duet with Nomi on stage. If that is her game plan, then all heck is going to break loose
Nomi has good friends willing to keep her secret even if they don’t know what that secret is but did those friends not tell Kaya because they were keeping her to them unknown secret or because they were scared of Kaya. on a side note as anyone who ever watch miraculous tales of ladybug and cat noir would know it is easier to be who you are inside when you were a mask.
I’ve got some questions about the series and lore and I didn’t really know where to ask so I hope this is a good place. Lots of them concern hybrids and how they work because it’s a reaally cool topic and i’ve been wondering about them for a bit.
1. If a hybrid is a parent, would the child be more likely to also be a hybrid? Also, if they are a hybrid are they likely to be the same type as their parent?
2. Is the first/original hybrid famous and what happened to him? we only really know a bit about him from the very start of the series so that’s why I’m so curious.
3. Are there any hybrids of underwater creatures, and if so can they use their gills? I’m thinking that could be a good ability for a mythical hybrid.
4. Are there any hybrids of extinct species like the tasmanian tiger or the dodo bird?
5. How far in the future do you have the lore for this series planned?
6. How often do you take ideas from people and implement it into the story?

As far as question one goes I don’t know the specifics of that, just that it’s highly unlikely there are any hybrid parents yet in universe. At the start of the comic it was stated that the oldest hybrids were around 16 years of age. Now that the twins have celebrated a birthday in comic the oldest hybrids are probably around 17. So unless the topic of teen pregnancy is going to be addressed in the comic it will probably be a couple of years in universe before we start seeing hybrid parents.
There are in-universe drawings of Draco and Viper in the future and their family, which seems to be a vast quantity of lizards. (In-universe these two seem to be the closest to parenthood, as they currently live together.)
Some of the fanfic shows Sam and Todd as having a variety of offspring, but I’m not sure that is canon.
1. Chances are about equal, it depends on which genes win out. Hybrid type is the same as one of the parents.
2. The first hybrid is John North and he is well known for being the first one. He’s not famous or rich because of it, but he’s named in the literature.
3. There are underwater animal hybrids but they don’t have gills. Rule of thumb is human anatomy with only small changes to accommodate animal features. Gills require a specialized breathing anatomy, so even if they have them, they’re not functional.
4. No extinct species are possible, with the exception of some species that went extinct AFTER hybrids were a thing already.
5. Rough plan is to go until they go to college at least, but I plan from chapter to chapter for the specifics.
6. Not often, but a good idea is a good idea. Even then, I make my own spin on it. Wouldn’t want to steal someone’s ideas, even if they want me to :p
