Oh, that’s BRUTAL. If you can’t get your deck to work after a bunch of Goldfish matches (playing your deck against an imaginary goldfish that just passes its turn), you have to start doing MATH to figure out what’s not shaping up with the probability you hoped for. Math that’s not always intuitive if you don’t have a head for statistics, depending on how complex your gimmick is.
Hence why lots of players favor running nothing but cheap cards and overwhelming your opponent before they can pull off their fancy gimmick.
Phoenix down? Does that mean she can resuscitate someone right now?
Benji’s helpful doggy instincts are showing. He just can’t help but try to ask the fire chicken what’s wrong. So is Phoebe new to competing in this card game or is this her first tome building a deck? And does Nora approve of this side of her darling boyfriend? It is one of his charms…
I wonder if this is the start of Phoebe’s journey to becoming a master of the cards, she’s a beginner having trouble with her deck who then has a mentor approach her and teach her to secrets she needs to master the game. Sounds like a classic Shounen story.
