They got rid of the guy;
it’s time for a girl’s day!
No need to cope with Kai,
it’s time for them to play!
Dividing up the story
of their time in town.
Standing up for glory
Kai beating Near’s frown…
She needs his help it seems
Whilst Anna and Kaya plan
The twinkle in his eye gleams
Time to show off his elan…
Normally, someone is sent out to find the Dragon….
Bit different for the Dragon to be sent out to find someone…
Wonder if she’s still near?
I mean, I know she’s still Near, but I wonder if she’s still near…
😜🤣
Hmmmm, looks to me like Cousin Annabella also knows both English and Italian, but since she lives in Italy Italian is her go-to language. She obviously understands English well enough to understand what Near said, curious how fluent she is with it though. Anyone else around who also speaks English for her to practice/remember with? The Twins have their Dad, but does she have someone or is it just the 1 month of the year when the Twins visit…?
…This comic does seem to get my brain drifting in random directions. Sorry if that causes problems, just something my brain does, especially when it enjoys something…
Remember that understanding is generally easier than talking.
Did they just send out a dragon to capture a princess? LOL! Well it’s also nice to see that Kai wasn’t completely clueless, he noticed, and now has a chance to recover. And hey, now the girls don’t have to share pastries with Kai! Though it would be nice if the save one for him for later.
I’m not sure if Kai is interested in Near romantically, though I could be wrong. Hopefully he can get her phone number so that they can stay in contact. Maybe she lives in Hybrid City as well…
We now know Annabella’s ulterior motive, she just wants to have more of those free pastries for herself and Kaya! XD Come to think of it, I wonder how much experience Annabella has with dating… How many dates has she been on to be the “expert” here? And will Kai and Near develop crushes on each other? Kaya and Annabella better save some free pastries for Kai!
Thank you, Robin, for this week’s page, as I can now resume drooling over Kaya’s curves.
Mwishful thinking, maybe??

How is Kai blushing through his scales?
Hmm, as best I can tell with the help of Wiktionary, “nona bianca” would be “the ninth white woman”. Was it perchance supposed to be “nonna bianca”, “the white grandmother”?
Bianca is a name, so no need to translate that one. I did indeed do a typo and meant “nonna”.
I think it right but I have any clue
Dragon knight was given a quest.
Will he succeed?
Stay tuned for the next exciting episode of Twin Dragons!
A chance at free pastries sounds good. Wondering what kind.
I half expected the girls to stalk them to see how it would turn out… nope, not that trope this time 😛
They’ll force a full accounting from Kai later, after pastries are eaten. 🙂
I bet she know that place has chocolate pastries which makes it even less of a question.
Bechdel test: Passed.
Twin Dragons passed the Bechdel test in 2015, on page 7, when Kaya welcomed Sabrina home. The current chapter passed when grandma asked the twins to come to the shed, when Annabella taught Kaya how to drive a scooter, when they parked outside Sofia’s, when Annabella ordered panini from Sofia, when Near and Sofia tried to understand each other, and when Sofia handed Near her panini. Did you notice only now?
Apparently, because I was too busy spotting missing commas on those pages.
Anna is climbing the list of favorite characters. She’s able to seamlessly bounce off whichever twin she’s talking to and I love it. She probably won’t crack the top 5 unless she winds up with a lot more page time, but she’s definitely up there for the secondary cast
