Kaya’s talking too much
And not figured it out;
Kai’s signing for sport
And knows what it’s about.
Kaya drivels and pounces,
Kai dribbles and bounces.
Cleo wishes her ears drop off
Benji hopes for the playoff.
Clubs are filling fast now,
The best are choosing their game
And, now Kai’s on the team,
They’ll win. He’s lit the flame.
Superb as usual.
The “Kaya drivels and pounces/Kai dribbles and bounces” lines make me think of Dr. Seuss’s book “Fox in Socks” which is full of tongue twisters of that style…

I laughed at that one xD
I was thinking along the lines of ‘Snakes don’t have ears as we know them’ on that line.

I do love how you’ve designed Cleo to be Stable and reserved to counter Kaya’s crazy and outgoing, while Kai and Benji are more like Bros.
Very much agree, Thisguy! It definitely helps to show each twin as his/her own person and not clones of each other.

Has anyone yet called into question your bizarre choice of webpage design, where your active navigation URLs are greyed out as if disabled, while your inactive ones (such as “next” to a page that doesn’t exist yet) are solid black?
It’s pretty counterintuitive, like a red light that means “go”.
It’s amazing how I never saw this myself. Maybe because I don’t navigate through my archive with the same navigation. I totally see what you mean and I should change that. Thanks for telling me 😀

I just found this comic through ads at Modest Medusa. I have to say, you’ve done a great job so far! I’m looking forward to reading this comic more as it is written.
(Comparing it to some of my other favorite comics – EGS, GrrlPower, Gaia, PS238 – I’d say you’re pretty great at character design, societal models, and art. I’m wondering how 0.1% total becomes 20% of the largest school in a city, though.)

Thanks for the great comment 😀 The percentage of hybrids in the school has a simple explanation that hasn’t come up in the comic. This city is basically attracting a lot of families with hybrids because it’s so hybrid friendly. A lot of families moved in and this city has one of the highest hybrid to human concentration in the world right now.
So just found and finished reading this comic I have to say i love it and im looking forward to more!
