I wonder who is driving Kai’s group.
I recognized Kaya’s group’s driver, before reading the bubbles – I’d recognize that out-of-the-frame face everywhere
Probably another housekeeper from the Portas Estate xD
‘Oh no,’ thinks Rex, ‘I’m going to the geeks’
as the White Knight wonders what he seeks
and what he can bring to the tale of these bros
whilst pondering how he can help, I suppose.
Going to the centre of the citys’ gaming
means it’s Benjis’ knowledge they’re framing
but not in the way they’ll test out Kaya
who takes to quiet like a Duck to a choir.
The quest continues in all its’ glory,
deducting time whilst it all adds story.
I wonder who each team is going to meet
as they take their chances to avoid defeat…
School library, local library or book shop…
How many of the choices have they visited since they arrived?
Going by the game shop clue that one of them knows about (and may not have been on the right team to give the answer), I’d say the locations are going in the direction of the road less traveled. Show them locations they may want to visit later but haven’t already.
The idea is indeed that they visit new locations in the still very new to them Hybrid City 😀
And we get to see new/returning characters?
Yup, that too ^^
Central city library, a branch near one of their homes, or the branch closest to their current location? A city around here, big enough to be a city and not a town, has many library branches and book shops. They could spend a long time trying to find the right one.
Yes, Kai was lucky to get that scroll paired with Benji (if Benji’s interpretation is correct). And if Kaya’s team will need to search for information in the library, then I bet Nate is the man for the job.
Game store and a library eh? Interesting different locations. Maybe we’ll see a clue as to a future session of Catacombs & Drakes. As far as the library goes: odds on Kaya getting shushed?
The odds are high. Very high xD
Odds of Kaya getting shushed is pretty high? Yeah, I’ll skip betting that she won’t get shushed thank you very much. Daniel the Human has taught me about Sucker-Bets and that you should avoid them, and I’m pretty sure this would be one of those…
The destinations are known, the course is laid, now set sail for adventure!
Team Kai is going to the Lucky Bunny? Luckily, Benji is a regular customer, he probably knows the owner’s daughter. Amy’s gonna live up to the shop’s name, she gets to talk to her crush, Rex Ruther. As for Team Kaya, their location is quite the challenge already. Kaya is one of nature’s noise machines. Hopefully the group won’t have to see if Kaya has a mute button, or use a muzzle on her snoot.
Kaya has no mute button, but she can keep quiet if she really wants to :p
For how long? It would also be funny if Cleo or Nate got shushed as well if they snapped in response to Kaya’s noise, most likely Cleo.
The library is too easy : surely there is dozen of it in the town . I’d be more for the school
There might be a library that stands out ^^
That pile of books have interesting shape, maybe that hints which specific library it is?
Are you sure? You can access nearly any reference material on the internet. Haven’t been to one in decades.
The hunt continues.
That’s a thought – did they get the right scrolls? Kai should be OK at a games store, but Kaya at a Library? As in the place with all the books where you have to be quiet? Let’s hope they solve the next problem before Kaya accidentally gets kicked out, either alone or with the other 2…
Panel 3: “four leaf” should be hyphenated.
Also, wouldn’t it make more sense for the Romeros to be in the middle seats?
Not sure the hyphenation is strictly compulsory in this case. And maybe they just prefer the door seats?
NO kid, out of 7, in my family EVER wanted the middle seat. 😉
It’s so both their teammates can help without one of them having to lean so far.
Hope you’re feeling better and you got over whatever was bothering you last week.
