Well wonder how Nora turns this around, she’s got a lot of ground to make up quick.
She’s going to “Pull a Nora” on ‘im! GOOOO NORAAA!! 🙂
“Some cards will be dealt with as example to the others?”-(Alt text) Sounds like Nora’s cards are on the road to starting a revolution against her… Hope she got good use of her kidneys.
Is this Nora’s plan? Does she have a card ready that will take advantage of her lost life points? And why does she feel the need to punch her cards in the kidneys to keep them in line? Sounds excessive instead of just establishing mutual trust, but she does seem like an aggressive “Tsundere…” Mikey best be prepared for Nora kicking his stripy butt so hard, it no longer has stripes. Oh, and also a couple punches in the kidneys.
So Yu-Gi-Oh in the Twin Dragons world is Yuppi-Oh. Is it yuppie themed and has the characters looking for ways to get more money and live it up? Doesn’t sound like it would appeal too much to kids apart from the card battles. Don’t know how many kids would know what a yuppie is, but at least it has the heart of the cards.
When reading the Alt text my mind also went to Good Omens.
I guess the kidney treatment is for any card that
a) relies purely on luck or
b) does not turn up when pulled five times out of a stack of five cards.
Since in our world the card game was an outgrowth of a Japanese manga named after the main character, perhaps in Twin Dragons the manga was aimed at younger kids, but it attracted an older fanbase. Thus the main character has the friendly name of Yuppi (Yupipi in Japanese).
Imagine if Pokemon was all about playing the Pokemon card game.
Ah, she’s the Crowley of card games. Cards that don’t perform end up in the shredder as a warning to the rest. Terrifying your deck into compliance is a tried and trusted tactic.
Nora the heartless clubs her cards in spades on the theory that pressure makes diamonds.
My idea is a swap life card and something that does enough damage to kill him even if it’s a damage everything card.
Nora fumes and Mike preens
Unaware of her fury to come.
There’s no way it’s over
This challenge has just begun.

I didn’t know levels went nearly that high.
Not in the actual Pokémon games! It’s from a 9 year old, 2 hour long Minecraft Pixelmon stream. Still absolutely insane play though
