I absolutely love the complete lack of assumptions being thrown around here. Near isn’t gonna be sticking around? Kai does not even express surprise; he just takes that into account for the current situation of “mugs need a week”. I’ve seen less understanding couples than this get happy endings, so this bodes well.
Near is about to reveal her address, and she totally lives in Hybrid City as well, doesn’t she ? ^^

Serena has an online store, with international customers?! Wow, her pottery must be great! I wonder where Near’s address is, hopefully it’s “near” Kai’s home.
Near’s family is heading to Rome? 1. That’s awesome, Rome has a lot history and I hope she takes a lot of pictures. 2. Kai only has one day to spend with his first girlfriend before she has to leave! He better get in as much fun on their date as he can! I wonder what they will do next.
You know, Near did miss the fate of the Kaya pounce, but not long. next time they meet I suspect that Near is going to experience the Kaya pounce full force.
Cats pounce too! Maybe Near and Kaya can chat, give each other tips on technique.
Meeting in Hybrid City: Kaya and Kai run into Near, Kaya pounces at Near at the EXACT same moment as Near pounces at Kai.

I’ll be surprised if the dress is still dry. I have used pumps like that. They’re made to fill a large bucket quickly, so water comes out plentifully, splashing over Near’s hands and then against the ground.
