FYI Robin, just a suggestion, I like to use “Mulch” for that particular censorwolf because I’m a Pokémon fan, and Mulch is made out of “crushed berries and Pokémon… um, you know”.
But if you want to keep the trend of your previous censorwolves, “sheep” seems like one the one to best fit the phonetic profile.
Side note: I’m going to start referring to substitutions in lieu of censorship as “censorwolves” now.
Ain’t it annoying when the enemy takes the lead?
Nora looks annoyed, so the annoyinator seems to be working.
I’m now wondering what it is about a wolf that makes it suitable as a censor.
Tactics will take the win.
I think that the Annoyinator is an early-game powerhouse and a late-game brick. Which makes it the exact type of card that Amy’s luck allows her to get away with running 1 copy of, because her luck means she either never draws it, draws it early, or draws it when she can easily get rid of it.
Nora, on the other hand, is unlucky, so to even use the card she would need a full playset in her deck, and would still not consistently get it in a useable opening hand. It’s also the type of card that gives enough of an early-game advantage that I can see it being a major card in the META (Most Effective Tactic Available, as explained a few pages ago), and Nora actively plays non-META decks, while I suspect Amy primarily plays META focused decks tuned to her luck.
Now the match starts. Ehold, the Annoyinator! *Dramatic music*
Is it just me or is Amy’s deck centered around annoying her opponents? A monster card that needs to be attacked twice and deals 100 damage with its vuvuzela? That sounds like it needs to be balanced, like requiring more energy to summon and/or making them uncommon. Would ranged attacks or spell/trap cards be able to take down this annoying, goofy automaton musician? I hope Nora has an idea or two to beat this bucket of bolts and bellows like how she dealt with Mikey.
[Censorwolf]? Did Nora literally say that or did it censor a word higher than this comic’s rating? Is she referring to the UTube streamer Censorwolf or is there a card that shares the name? I hope Nora doesn’t get booted from the convention for excessive swearing! Even though [Annoyinator] is a reasonable cause. It sounds like something Dr. Doofenschmirtz would build.
*Behold. Stupid fingers.
I suspect that the Annoyinator is intended to be a low-mana-cost “Mythic” (highest rarity) card that is powerful in the early-game, and fairly useless in the mid-to-late game. And we’ve seen exactly one of Amy’s Cards, and it’s a card that I can see becoming a card prevalent in the META simply because of how powerful it is in the early game. Given that I feel like Amy and Nora have the exact opposite play styles, I think Amy plays META Decks against Nora’s Anything-But-META decks.
“The inventor of the Annoyinator was immediately expelled from Tinkerschool, Tinkertown, and was eventually exiled from the Eastern Kingdoms altogether.”
I’m surprised the annoyinator doesn’t have taunt. That kind of seems like something it would have.
Amy doesn’t toot her own horn;
she let’s others do it for her;
a tactic Nora knows from history
and it’s beginning to be a bugger.
Two cards to combat one,
a wasting move to start the fight.
The two know each other well.
Knowledges counters the delight.
Nora needs to keep her cool here
as Amy knows all the buttons to push.
If she doesn’t control the game
Amy’ll have her out on her tush…
I remember when my brother got some vuvuzelas for his kids in 2010. We all regretted that.
Close enough, welcome back annoy-o-tron!
Hello! Hello! Hello!
This is the cultural equivalent of parachute pants in 2006.
Who let Dr. Doofenshmirtz into the convention?
