When gaming is in your blood, you gotta game.
I was a gamer since arcades came to popularity, but I’d never force my kids to play like that.
But I had 64 games for the atari 2600, well over 50 for the NES, 68 for the SNES, 28 for PS1
40+ for the PS2, and I forget how many for X-Box 360. So yes, they did play a lot when I was
at work lol.
I highly doubt it was forced. Usually when you force kids to do stuff and hogtie them down till they do they grow up to hate the thing they were forced into. They don’t usually go into local tournaments to settle lifelong gaming battles and take the crown from each other.
It’s probably more of an overly-enthusasic introduction.
I get the distinct feeling that Amy’s Dad and Nora’s Mom are the siblings in this cousin-hood 😛
The same thing seems different,

Don’t get me wrong in intent;
the parents are not being mean.
But, whereas one’s being kind
is the other just a little TOO keen?
Siblings brought up fighting
often pick up different styles.
Where one succeeds by aggression
the other wins by smiles.
