In case you’re wondering about line 5, there’s a cliche about attracting a dangerous things’ attention in the worst way. Grabbing a Tiger by the tail. Kaya’s often amusingly – and unintentionally – dangerous so I referenced it.

I was thinking “health”.
“Health” would make more sense than “heart” given the typical error non-native English speakers make of switching “r” and “l” (also the spelling is closer).
While I’m at it, “O-M-G” should be hyphenated to denote they’re being used altogether as a slang phrase (Oh My God), rather than Cleo just says random letters to relieve stress.

Beautiful one here, Robin! That third panel makes Kaya really look like a cutie! Love the tiny “Boop”, and you even put a tiny wrinkle on top of her muzzle from when her nose contacted the bone. NICE touch!
Wonderful posing for both Kaya and Rex in the fourth panel. Rex makes it look so easy, and him holding the rambunctious Kaya’s tail like that just seems soo appropriate. (You’re doing to drive the shippers crazy! 😉 The color of Rex’s shirt matching Kaya’s tail won’t hurt that at all.) Kaya’s expression and lines are perfect for her; like this is so “all-in-a-day” for her. 🙂 I like Rex’s shirt too. Isn’t that one of those from your contest? Even Nate’s showing up and Rex’s warning fit well. Gives Rex a bit more material to round things out instead of just the one line to Kaya.
Last panel; “Awwww.. “poor” Cleo. 🙂 Rex and Kaya’s off-panel lines here are perfect background for Cleo’s image and her line.

I started shipping Kaya and Rex, (and also Kai and Cleo) back in the last chapter, so I’m pleased to see the first ship is steaming forward rapidly.

Well that was a last minute save… thank God for Rex’ timing. I think you just gave all of us quite the scare Robin, not just Cleo. The little “Boop” in panel 3 is also simply precious. Lastly, with the way “Halt” is written, combined with Rex’ being the paladin in C&D, did anyone else read that in their head in a stereotypical knight’s voice? Great work as always Robin. Way to toy with our stress levels. Stay awesome.

Several museums are making plastic casts of skeletons on display, mounting those and putting the originals in climate controlled vaults to minimize exposure to the current atmosphere. Had Kaya actually knocked a few bones loose, they may have just bounced instead of breaking.

He does play basketball. In fact, he’s the vice captain. (if that term is used in basketball.) Anyway, he’s second in command and Rex’s right hand man so to speak. Rex handpicked him (and regrets it to this day. Those awful jokes he has to put up with xD )
Don’t know if there are vice captains or not in basketball, but taking “vice” out of context it still works:

“Rin Tin Tin” was the name of a tv show in North America back in the 1950s or early 1960s. I believe it was set in Canada and ‘star’ of the show was German Shepherd dog named “Rin Tin Tin”. I think he belonged to the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) or one of it’s officers. The show was kind of a competitor of the “Lassie” tv show. Similar format, but with the dog working with the RCMP while Lassie was a boy’s pet (on a farm?).
That makes sense. I didn’t know about Rin Tin Tin, but I did know about the english name for a comic character from Belgium called ‘Kuifje’ which in english they called ‘Tin Tin’. I assumed it had to do with that, since that character is named after his hair here in Belgium. That’s why I thought he was refering to Nate’s hair xD
