It’s time to dual!!! Yugi vs Kaiba, anyone? Anyone? No? Okay.
I remember it! Ha, this arc is really reminding me of the old yu gi oh days! Spent more sundays than I can count at the weekly local card shop tournament when I was a kid. Awhile back, I thought about getting back into it, but it’s a whole different game these days. Seems the current meta is playing like half your deck in the first couple turns to win.
Ah, Sylvan Library, a classic.
I don’t know what is going on in the comic
Two cute little bunny cousins have whipped out the knives and are slashing mightily at each other, screaming obscenities at the same time.
What the hell did AutoCorrect do to my name?
Looks like the Fielders family Bunny Hybrid genes contain a lot of viciousness, I pity poor Benji. I wonder if a Turtle Hybrid would be able to counter both buns here and beat them…
Amy’s starting out strong with a [Disintegration] card, leaving her big cousin Nora vulnerable to the [Annoyinator]. This is like Nora’s duel with Mikey, both of them are annoying to deal with and Nora’s bad luck isn’t helping. At least her luck just seems limited to gaming, it would probably enrage Nora more if her bad luck embarrassed and/or inconvenienced her in the other aspects of her life. How does Nora plan on dealing with Amy’s unnaturally good luck (she should be nerfed)? Maybe pulling off an old Kansas City Shuffle and getting Amy to make a bad decision? Perhaps Nora wants Amy to think she’s just self-milling in order to catch little bunny off guard?
Benji doing a lot of Benji-splaining in this chapter and Kaya is asking a lot of questions. Where is Kaya’s other biological half right now? Is he also watching and rooting for Nora? I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people are rooting for Nora here, given that being Amy’s opponent must be extremely frustrating. What other sci-fi monsters and cards does Nora have up her bunny sleeves?
I wonder if this is going to come down to one of them making a very small but critical mistake.
I’m gonna be honest, I have no idea how the economy of this game works
Turn 1 Annoyinator 10/100 w/protect, 3xbattlebots ???/??? w/shield 100
Turn 2 Disintegrate: board wipe, Val Library: +2 card draw.
If battlebots are 100/100 then they are just straight up superior to annoyinator
Playing a 1 sided board nuke on turn 2 also strikes me as insane.
Disintegrate could be something like end the festivities or pest control in magic that only hits small creatures, or there is very little economy, like yugioh
Title text: Maybe hyphenate “toe to toe”?
I’ve seen it done. But not essential
Play the card or play the player;
it’s the gap between slayed and slayer.
The girls know each other too well…
this final’s to be a drawn out hell.
They know how to counter the card;
making the opening moves doubly hard.
Can Nora find how to change her luck
or will she lose to Amy’s nibbling duck?
It’s good Benji’s there to explain this all
or Kaya would be heading for a fall.
Knowledge missing from her noggin…
attention’s what the girls are hoardin’….
You might want to re-think that last “couplet”.
Also, when I read the one before, a title popped into my head: Resident Evil 2.
Diolch yn fawr iawn.
Bunnies are not hogs, but that rhyme still should have been, as jprime mentioned.
She plays [Pot of Greed] a magic card that’s her draw two more cards from her deck!

Wait… isn’t milling specifically deck-to-discard, not drawing cards? Named after the MtG card first famous for it, the Antiquities card Millstone. “2, T: Take the top two cards of target player’s library and put them in target player’s graveyard.”
Mill is in fact now a keyword in the game. Mill X – Target player puts the top X cards of their library into their graveyard.
