Mikey is definitely a raccoon, only he doesn’t steal garbage like his fellow trash bandits. Nora is really on the ropes here, hopefully she has something that can turn the tables on the Trash Panda boy so she can go on to kick Amy’s butt. Hmm, maybe Nora has a card that would penalize a player that uses Steal on it…
“RAM Prices 2026?” “‘Creative’ AI?” What year is this supposed to be taking place in?! I thought it was the late 2010s. Did the cards’ designer predict what 2026 would look like? XD Thankfully I don’t need to buy any replacement RAM for the foreseeable future! I hope Mikey doesn’t endorse these issues personally, given the toll both have on people and the environment.

Am I the only one who thinks she didn’t forget about that Steal?
Given that was my first thought, the comment by SophieTRat-Skunk & the poem by Welsh Rat, I’m fairly certain that only a few readers actually believe she forgot about that Steal. Now the question is, how is she planning on exploiting it?
MTG has a few cards based around controlling your opponent’s actions for a turn. Alternatively, there could be a board-wipe, sorry, “Board Clear”, that causes damage to the card’s controller as they’re destroyed. But neither of those actually fit with the stated theme Nora focuses on, “Cards nobody else plays”.
Instead, I figure that the Gatling Drone is either intended to be the card that turns the game around, or as a bait to get Mikey to do exactly what he did. Specifically, I suspect Gatling Drone has an effect of “when it changes control, X happens”. And that Nora is going to recover control over the Gatling Drone through a card with the effect “Cards are under the control of their owner”.
This has turned from action to horror game! 😮
… but why do I get the feeling that she WANTED him to get that exact card?
But will Nora allow him that much time on the field? 🙂
