goody two-shoes
Benji is having way too much fun with this.
The last week has been very hectic for me. I didn’t get much time between driving around for job interviews, freelance work and making sure I stay on schedule for the comic. As such, I haven’t gotten around to doing a summary of the voting poll yet. Sorry for the delay, but the most important thing is the comic, and that one is right here 🙂
As always, if you like the comic, please consider donating on my patreon. Even one dollar goes a long way.
Don’t forget that I stream every Sunday! You are more than welcome to join in on the fun.
The stream is hold at the following hour:
UTC: 1PM
EDT: 9AM
PDT: 6AM
CEST: 3PM
Don’t forget to vote for Twin Dragons at Topwebcomics!

Thanks for voting!
Damn ! Close your muzzle , Benji : you want to relaunch a war between Rex and Kai ? ^_^”
And more , you’re wrong : Kai said it “https://www.twindragonscomic.com/comic/missing-something/”

Third panel
To get to see kai’s serious and angry face again… I had forgotten just how much i like this comic.
I’m sure Rex won’t take it too badly… right? xD
Of course he want’s to split the team up!
Kaya is magic as usual,
Kai’s a Rogue, that’s cool.
The other’s haven’t chosen yet
and Benji’s acting the fool.
He’s having too much fun
whilst poking the Wolfnet’s nest.
Will Rex have reasoned that out
and will it be all for the best?
The Master’s biased against the player
Looking to split them up already
If his tactic worked and the team goes down
Several characters will end up deady…
That’s an evil Benji on his way ^_^
Never split up the team! xD
Sorry, Robin, you quote it wrong!
“Don’t You Know? You never split the party.
Clerics in the back to keep those fighters hale and hearty.
The wizard in the middle, where he can shed some light.
And you never let that damn thief out of sight.”

That’s why it’s called role playing Benji. And I think Rogue suits Kai better than a Paladin.
I look forward to see Kaya as a mage, and to see how many things she sets on Fire 😛
I’m more partial to characters that are to skilled to be hit to the walking walls, more interesting and it adds some stakes since they don’t have much damage mitigation making a single hit serious threat.
Actually, the ego in that quote makes me think of how most paladins get played, more than rouges.
Well, even though we haven’t seen it past the first chapter, Kai IS a prankster (Kaya too) so yeah, rogue fits him ^^
If Rex chose to be a female elf bard I will be shocked
I called it first.
I think you’re not the only one who will be shocked :p
He wouldn’t choose a female one (with beginner players a DM would be amateur, if let the players a different gender, than themselves – there can be an exception too, of course), but a bard is not unexcluded. (Player {half-orc bard with maximum strength}: “I hit him with my instrument.” DM: Which is a…?’ Player {grinning}: ” A piano.”)
Ye gads. That’s like my Uratha (werewolf) character going through his first change.
“So, wait, you ran him over with your motorcycle?”
“No…I said I hit him with my motorcycle. As in, I beat him to death with it.”
I like picking Mage characters, too! I think they generally let you be more creative with your problem solving. For example, being able to see the walls of an invisible maze by forming frost, burning it black, making glowing lights or scoring the surface.
True, although there are some pretty creative ways of doing things without magic :p
My first character was a Monk. The party had an immovable rod. I asked the DM what kind of skill check I’d need to salmon ladder with the immovable rod to use a drop attack on a hydra. He wouldn’t let me do it. (To be fair, I was only level 6.)
I calling Cleo will decide to be a human warrior named Fred.
hmmm, somehow I doubt that xD
Got nothing to say to day but i slept in it 6 right now and I’m still tired as hell
sleeping longer often has the oposite effect xD
Hah! Kai’s going to be running extra laps for that one Benji. I’m sure you’ll be getting shot a few dirty looks along the way. Both faces in that last panel are PRICELESS. I also look forwards to seeing Kaya as a mage. I just hope that the monsters are the only thing she sets on fire. xP Not sure about C&D, but if there’s morality (lawful, neutral, etc…) it’ll be fun to see what everyone picks. Anyway, keep making your awesome comic, Robin! You should really consider making a kickstarter for printed issues of these. Maybe limited edition? No matter what, I intend to stay with you on this journey until the sad day when this comic ends. May it be years more before that day should come.
Kaya: Hey, I can’t find a fireball in the list of spells I can use.
Benji: That’s because you only get to cast first-level spells right now. Fireballs are level 3.
Kaya: So I have to get up to level 3 before I can cast fireballs. What a rip!
Ben: Actually, you have to reach level 7 before you can cast level 3 spells.
Kaya: [ Redacted ]! [ Deleted ]!
[ Cleo is surprised. Rex is shocked. ]
Kai: Wow! I didn’t realize you even knew some of those words. What does [ Deleted ] mean anyway?
Benji: Guys!
haha xD
Since they’re all teens, I think they wouldn’t be shocked at all though :p
Thanks Alpha. Printed editions were on my list, but I’m holding off for them just a bit. I want to make sure it’s a great edition and not just something printed for the heck of it. That’s why I’m taking my time with that.
Just started reading this last week, and I’m officially hooked. Keep it up, Robin! :3
Thanks, I’m glad you like it ^^
Welcome 😀
Whatever Rex does with his tail (wag or angry erection) , i bet Benji will have to clean the chair’s back of fur ^_^”
He’s used to that anyway :p
Kai could go skill-based rogue and eschew the cloak-and-dagger combat abilities. Bluff, diplomacy, and haggle your way to victory.
That’s one possibility ^^
Or team with Kaya and use a cantrip to use pyrite as a currency. (Callback to my first D&D session. One person tried to use it on the black market and rolled a 1 for diplomacy. Then his buddy rolled a 2 for intimidate. Then the wizard rolled a 16 for diplomacy, using a cantrip to disguise a small amount of gold as a larger amount. Character interaction:
“Can I pay for it with this *cough* fool’s gold?”
“No.”
“Take the fool’s gold, please?”
“How about you leave?”
“Sorry about my comrades. They’re a little… special, in the head. I’ll pay for them. Here you go.”
“Thank you. Keep better track of them.”
)
Rex: “He said what? Well, I’m…really not surprised. But he doesn’t seem like a little goody two-shoes…”
Kai: “Good, bad, I’m the guy with the gun.”
Benji: “Why the hell do you have a gun?!”
being the guy with the gun does put you in an advantageous position no matter what side you’re on :p
At least, as long as you are “The” guy with the gun, and not just “A” guy with a gun! 🙂
Although the D&D gun (the arquebus) had as much tendency to deal damage to the user as the target.
Much like the real thing, if I recall correctly! 🙂 I know someone I could ask if you really want to know. 😉 🙂 🙂
I’m the guy with the gun , but without bullets ^_^”
Kaya’s so deep into roll playing, she must have become one with her mage character and cast a Level 1 spell of Change Textile Coloring on her sleeves to remove the stripes. 😉
Benji, are you sure you aren’t a chihuahua? Because, you talk too much. LOL.
In the best traditions of rogues Kai’s a goodie two shoes whenever the alternative stands to inconvenience him personally.
Benji, you really want to get Kai in trouble, don’t you.
Goody two-shoes picking a rogue class. Kai is literally me but a dragon.
